Mid-18thC Chinese style cup - William Reid, Liverpool

Definitely 18thC but I don't thnk it's Chinese, looks English to me. Looking at the base in the photo is seems that the glaze has been wiped away from where it meets the foot leaving a thicker glaed area in the center, it may be the light it's hard to tell tbh. If the glaze has been wiped away that is indicitive of Worcester.

Cheers It does look like a mix of styles. The glaze over the porcelain has quite a blue tint. I think Japanese, copying Chinese wares or vice versa is also possible

"William Reid, Liverpool c1758-60. Illustrated on page 29 of Maurice Hillis, Liverpool Porcelain 1756-1804. The decoration on either side of the handle is a Reid feature."
