Thuyoshi Uenaka - Tanba/Tamba

Thuyoshi Uenaka is a Tanba potter, who was born in 1982. He began potting in 2001 but in the intervening years has gained a considerable reputation. This teabowl like the rest of his work is wood-fired for several days in an anagama style kiln. It isn't typical of traditional work from the area.
